
AWARD, in 1998 from an international organization in Vishakapatnam “World Teachers Trust”. Janaki, the popular playback singer is his niece. Radha is his wife and he has two sons, G.S Pavana Kumar and G.V.N Anil Kumar. He has composed tunes for more than 600 Annamacharya songs and recorded for TTD and also published music notation books. He was always committed and consistent in learning music to improve his talent. He brought forth his musical talent and prowess through the participation in Annamacharya project, to which he remained a loyal exponent till his retirement. He was trained even by Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna.Īfter the completion of a diploma in Carnatic classical vocal music, Sri Balakrishna joined the Annamacharya Project. He had undergone training for classical Kritis during a 2-year scholarship from TTD. With the help of Nedunuri Krishnamurthy, he mastered composing music to Annamacharya Sakeerthanas and also publishing books with musical notations and audio recordings. He was an excellent vocal artist of All India Radio. Sri Balakrishna was born to Sri Narasimha Rao who was a music teacher.
